James qualified as a Solicitor in January 2002 and joined our team in the Litigation department. James undertakes a broad range of litigation work, including employment law, property and contract disputes, neighbour disputes, landlord and tenant, professional negligence, and personal injury. He has previously worked at Shoosmiths solicitors where he specialised in civil litigation, especially property and boundary disputes and represented a client in a groundbreaking case in the High Court regarding the registration of title of property. He has also conducted cases in the Court of Appeal.
James is active in the local community and was born and grew up in Surrey. He is a Borough Councillor in Woking, and a former College governor. His other interests are chess, the countryside, running, and the theatre.
